Amy Almond (Directing Intern)
Amy is pursuing a theatre degree with a double emphasis of directing/management and performance at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she is also the artistic director for the student-run theatre company Theatrix. She is thrilled to be working with Saratoga Shakespeare Company this summer!
Arielle Beth (Acting Apprentice)
Arielle is thrilled to be working with SSC! She recently made her off broadway debut in New Yiddish Rep’s Death of a Salesman (Drama Desk Nomination). Shakespeare credits include: The Tempest ( Miranda), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Puck), and Taming of the Shrew (Bianca). Training from The Barrow Group. www.ariellebeth.com
Cormac Bohan (Acting Intern)
Cormac is so excited to be performing with the Saratoga Shakespeare Company. He is currently a Sophomore BFA Acting major at Syracuse University. Previous credits include Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Touchstone in As You Like It, Carleton Fitzgerald in Light Up The Sky, and Friar Laurence in Romeo and Juliet.
Tommy Bowden (Acting Intern)
Tommy is so excited to be performing with Saratoga Shakespeare Company! He is studying Government and Theater at Hamilton College. Previous roles include Georg in Spring Awakening, Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Macbeth in Macbeth, and Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing. He also was a semi-finalist in the National Shakespeare Competition, performing one of Henry V’s monologue from Henry V at Lincoln Center.
Talia Feldberg (Directing Intern)
Talia Feldberg recently received her BA from Vassar College in Drama and Victorian Studies. Other training includes the National Theater Institute. Directing credits: Next Time I’ll Sing to You, Rappaccini’s Daughter, Sweeney Todd, and Choephori (a devised piece based on the Oresteia). She also served as resident dramaturg of Vassar’s Shakespeare Troupe.
Anna Gerber (Acting Intern)
Anna is excited to work with the Saratoga Shakespeare Company! She is studying theatre and creative writing at Skidmore College. Previous credits include stage-managing Skidmore College’s Xerxes this past spring, Henriette in The Learned Ladies (Sweet Briar College), an American Reporter/ensemble in Nine, Koharu in The Love Suicides of Amijima, and Young Prince Richard in Richard II.
Brett Murphy (Acting Intern)
Brett is beyond excited to be performing with the Saratoga Shakespeare Company. He is pursuing degrees in Mathematics and Theatre Arts at Boston College. Previous credits include Bobby in Cabaret, Pete/Jimmy in Almost, Maine, and Enoch Snow in Carousel.
Kholiswa Mendes-Pepani (Directing Intern)
Kholiswa is thrilled to be working and collaborating with Saratoga Shakespeare Company! She is currently studying theater, creative writing and community development at Bennington College. Previous credits include, Assistant Director of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and publishing Intern to Penguin Random House.
Gabrielle Perez (Technical Intern)
Gabrielle Perez is very excited to be apart of Saratoga Shakespeare Company this season! She is a senior at Savannah College of Art and Design, studying to receive her B.F.A. in Dramatic Writing, with a concentration in playwriting. In college, Gabrielle helped develop a series of student play readings.
Andria Rabenold (Acting Intern)
Andria is overjoyed to perform on SSC’s stage this summer! She is studying theatre, mathematics, and political science at the University of Rochester. Previous credits include Yerma in Yerma, Yvette Poitier in Mother Courage and Her Children, Polly Garter in Under Milk Wood, and Kim MacAfee in Bye Bye, Birdie.
Josh Reiter (Acting Intern)
Josh is thrilled to be making his SSC debut! He is a Junior in the Acting program at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). He just came off of a month long run as Norman in Neil Simon’s The Star-Spangled Girl. Last summer, Josh worked as an intern to Lin-Manuel Miranda as Hamilton opened on Broadway.
Amanda M. Rogus (Acting Intern)
Amanda is whimsically enthralled to perform with Saratoga Shakespeare Company! She founded the Shakespeare Society at Wittenberg University where she studies English and Theatre. Some favorite credits include Hamlet in Hamlet, Mary Girard in The Insanity of Mary Girard, Katherine in The Taming of the Shrew, and Mother in Asylum.
Hallie Smythe (Acting Intern)
Hallie is extremely excited to be performing with Saratoga Shakespeare Company this summer! She studies theater and education at Skidmore College. Previous credits include cast member in American Collision(s), cast member in American Medea, both produced at Skidmore College. Additionally, her credits include Oedipus in Oedipus at Colonus at the British American Drama Academy in London.
