Join the Saratoga Shakespeare Company to see the Royal Shakespeare Company’s (RSC), U.S. premiere and acclaimed production of King Lear at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) Harvey Theatre.

This bold production is directed by Gregory Doran and stars Olivier Award-winning actor Sir Antony Sher as Lear. This stellar production has received rave reviews and its limited NYC run is nearly sold-out. Sir Antony Sher is one of Britain’s premier actors and we are thrilled to offer the opportunity to see him in what the Telegraph calls, “a mightily impressive performance – one that will rank as a crowning achievement in a major career.”

On Sunday, April 29th 2018, we will travel directly from Saratoga Springs to the Brooklyn Academy of Music in an Upstate Transit luxury minibus. We will have an opportunity to enjoy brunch or lunch (on your own) prior to the matinee performance in one of the many restaurants near BAM. After the performance, the minibus will then pick us up for our return trip home.

The fee for the trip is $185 which includes round-trip transportation, the BAM ticket, refreshments on the bus, and a $35 donation to Saratoga Shakespeare. We have a very limited number of available tickets for this special event, so please make your reservations as soon as possible.
